Dr. Darrell Fernando, Sp.OG, MRCOG (UK), MM, MARS, FRSPH, FICS, Int.Aff. RANZCOG

Dr. Darrell Fernando is an Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. He graduated magna cum laude from Universitas Indonesia in 2011 and completed his specialist training in 2018. In 2022, he became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and earned a Master’s degree in Management and Hospital Administration from the University of Pelita Harapan. He is now furthering his expertise with a subspecialty in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Universitas Indonesia.

His areas of expertise include infertility management, fertility preservation such as egg freezing, and the treatment of endometriosis, PCOS, menstrual disorders, sexual and reproductive health issues, and vaginismus. He is also experienced in minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and is a strong advocate of Enhanced Recovery After Caesarean Surgery (ERACS) to support faster, safer recovery for mothers.

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Darrell values balance in life and enjoys activities that keep him energised and connected. He loves travelling, discovering new cuisines and cultures, and spending time on the padel court. These interests not only enrich his personal life but also reflect his belief in the importance of wellbeing, diversity, and continuous learning — qualities he brings into his approach to patient care.
